This meeting is open to all current members as well as anyone in the community who would like to be a member.

We recognize that it is difficult for those members on the Space Coast to get to events held in Orlando. Moreover, we have enough members in the Brevard County area to have a separate Chapter. Currently, the Sunshine Chapter has approximately 400 members in the Space Coast Sub-Chapter area.

In order for this new Chapter to be successful, we are asking for all interested members to come to the meeting to help organize the leadership and the goals for this organization. As you know, it takes the commitment of a handful of members to ensure the organization’s success in meeting the needs for our Active and Reserve Soldiers, Retirees, Family Members and Civilians, as well as telling the Army story to our local community.

We are committed to serving the units in our area to include the 2d Brigade, 78th Training Support Division; US Army Element DEOMI (Patrick AFB); D Company, 1st Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment (Cocoa); A Battery, 2d Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery (Melbourne); our Recruiters and other detachments in our area.
